  Yesterday visited the Max S photoshop in Tesco / Western Avenue. Wanted two 16in. X 12 in. enlargements fro memory card. Assistant himself set up required prints on viewer - both looked great, colour wise, brightness and focus - and logged them in. However, the resulting prints on collection were very poor - quite unlike those viewed. One was, perhaps, passable but the other totally abysmal - very dark with decidedly grainy image. Totally unacceptable! Complained. Assistant blamed image on memory card. How then was image on screen so very good? Reprinted but hardly any better! I wondered if he was "proving" his point!!! Will certainly not use service again. At home, reprinted images from memory card on my very ordinary Epson printer, with no tweaking or adjustment. Result - clear, true coloured, in focus, non grainy images, albeit at A4 size, the largest I could print. 100% better than the so called " professionally" printed rubbish I was presented with!
